Our history

ARBORICULTURE VISION was founded in 2009 by Philippe Léger. From day one, our focus has been to offer our clients a next level experience from first phone call to service completion, no matter the job. After only a few years in business, we doubled down our focus on hedge trimming and quickly became a household name in the West Island. As the company grew, so did our desire to offer complete arboriculture care to our clients. We are now a full-service eco-friendly hedge trimming & tree care services company, with an emphasis on safety, precise work, and preserving the West Island’s canopy.

Our hedges and tree specialists will:
  • Ensure safety parameters are put in place prior to unloading equipment
  • Set up industry approved ladders when trimming hedges
  • Protect rock gardens and sensitive plants, if applicable
  • Trim all hedges to the predetermined specifications
  • Perform any pruning or removal work to trees, as specified. We follow the ISA standards and BMP guidelines when it comes to pruning & climbing. We ensure that the highest level of safety measures are used throughout every step of the job at your property
  • Collect all clippings, branches and wood chips (yes, even those in your pool!)
  • Clean all lawn, patio and pavement surfaces with an air blower

From a young age, proper pruning cuts can be made on a tree to direct its growth into an aesthetic shape and structure. Whether you have a young tree that needs an initial formative prune or a mature tree that needs some trimming, we can explain to you what should be done to the tree in order for it to reach its full potential.

  • GOING GREEN

We are proud to say that we are an eco-friendly tree trimming company! We use battery-powered tools for 100% of our hedge and tree pruning jobs. We only use gas saws when we are taking down an entire tree. Furthermore, most of the wood chips & clippings we collect go to a farm where they are used in compost. We encourage you to check out our free wood chip initiative found in the services page on our website! We are confident that our eco-friendly, zero-emissions and quiet tools will please you too!

  • SAFETY FIRST
Rest assured that we have all necessary hedge and tree trimming / cutting insurance coverage for all the services we offer. We take work safety very seriously. Our crew members always wear helmets equipped with an intercom system while at work to help in that regard. We close off sidewalks when necessary and always set up safety cones on the road next to our trucks. We have signalization measures ready to go for larger jobs where roads may have to be partially closed.
